摘要: For collision systems having axial symmetry, the anisotropy of laser‐induced fluorescence is given explicitly in terms zeroth, second, and fourth rank moments angular momentum distribution, which, respectively, are proportional to population, quadrupole alignment, hexadecapole alignment product internal state under study. Expressions presented for determining these three quantities from dependence intensity on polarizations absorbed detected photons. Results an arbitrary excitation‐detection geometry which then specialized commonly occurring cases where direction detection at right angles axis cylindrical symmetry incoming light beam either along or it direction.
