摘要: Acetylcholinesterase is a key enzyme in the nervous system. This protein biological target of predominant insecticides used agriculture and other neurotoxins such as algal toxins. Its high sensitivity, rapid turn-over, stability promoted its use analytical applications to detect pesticides at low concentrations environmental samples. It possible today produce this recombinantly different systems engineer mutated forms based on structural information computer modeling techniques leading large variety properties. In chapter main features acetylcholinesterase with regard biotechnological last developments biosensors are presented.
