摘要: The relation between proteinuria and mortality was investigated in 1188 patients with Type 1 diabetes 3234 2 diabetes, aged 35-55 at baseline followed up for a mean of 9.4 +/- 3.1 years the WHO Multinational Study Vascular Disease Diabetes. Baseline prevalence light or heavy same (25 %) both types after adjustment differences duration. Compared no proteinuria, all cause ratios were 1.5 (95 % confidence interval 1.1-2.0) 2.9 (2.2-3.8) respectively, (1.2-1.8) 2.8 (2.3-3.4) patients, age, duration blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking. Proteinuria associated significantly increased from renal failure, cardiovascular disease, other causes death. In association strongest deaths, similar magnitude conclusion, is common, important, rather non-specific risk factor morbidity diabetes. to benefits risks reduction should be examined large randomized trials clinical endpoints.
