摘要: Physical exercise is associated with elevation of serum levels interleukin-6 (IL-6) because its production in the muscles. The use IL-6 measurements saliva has been proposed field immunopathology, mainly involving salivary gland disease. We evaluated responses and two different groups athletes submitted to types controlled strenuous (spinning activity maximal isokinetic test). Serum samples for measurements, lactate myoglobin determination before after exercise, were obtained. Salivary was measured by ELISA dilution experiments compared results obtained immunoradiometric assay. Spinning elicited significant increases all variables, no correlation found among respective variations. A response observed IL-6, only; between IL-6. Our study demonstrated that are dissociated, possibly relation lack relationships systemic/muscular routes production. Analytical issues concern measurement deserve attention, notably regarding collection method used absorb saliva. Concomitant monitoring markers inflammation, muscle metabolism damage can provide information about function properties adaptations physical effort athletes.
