摘要: By analyzing high-accuracy Leonid orbits obtained from multiple-station meteor observations during the 1998 outburst and 1999 storm, we have detected presence of meteoroids with peculiar orbits. These are characterized by having a geocentric radiant nearly identical to members storm that appeared them but showing different orbital elements owing their lower velocities. The changes in some significant allow us interpret cause such differences. Mainly, semimajor axis eccentricity these anomalous than expected for dust trail or coming background component linked annual stream. From characteristics it is likely suffered perturbations on very short timescales. We investigated several causes, including planetary perturbations, collisions, radiative effects order explain observed changes. conclude can be explained loss energy close ecliptic plane. Such an effect only clearly collisions original particles associated zodiacal cloud. applied this hypothesis constrain physical properties 55P/Tempel-Tuttle cometary meteoroids.
