摘要: Adult Ixodes ricinus (Acari: Ixodidae) ticks collected near Ljubljana, Slovenia, were tested for the agent of human granulocytic ehrlichiosis (HGE) by using PCR assays based on 16S rRNA gene. Three (3.2%) 93 found to contain ehrlichiae. Nucleotide sequences portions bacterial groESL heat shock operon amplified from these identical or nearly (99.8%) those previously determined patients with HGE providing additional evidence that infected agent. This study identified I. as likely vector ehrlichial pathogens humans in this part Europe.
