摘要: The formation of barium hexaferrite from stoichiometric mixtures BaCO3 and Fe2O3 has been investigated by means differential thermal analysis thermogravimetry, x-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectrometry. first step, which implies decarbonatation monoferrite formation, includes the various intermediate compounds, are formed at contact points between grains, diffusion both species. In second is interfaces iron oxide mainly through BF6 lattice into hematite lattice. This exothermic reaction process leads to nonagglomerated pseudohexagonal platelets with an average particle size very close one starting powder mixture (∼1 μm).
