摘要: Turbulence measurements performed in a stable boundary layer over the sloping ice surface of Vatnajokull Iceland are described. The layer, which katabatic forces stronger than large-scale forces, has structure that closely resembles overlying flat land surface, although there some important differences. In order to compare two situations set-up instruments on an cap was reproduced grass at Cabauw, Netherlands. Wind speed and temperature gradients were calculated combined with flux made sonic anemometer obtain local stability functions φm φh as function parameter z/L. Unlike situation where linear z/L, katabatically forced dependence found be non-linear related height wind maximum. Thermal stratification depth however seem rather similar under these different forcing conditions.
