摘要: Connexin (Cx) and pannexin (Panx) proteins form large conductance channels, which function as regulators of communication between neighbouring cells via gap junctions and/or hemichannels. Intercellular is essential to coordinate cellular responses in tissues organs, thereby fulfilling an role the spreading signalling, survival death processes. The functional properties hemichannels are modulated by different physiological pathophysiological stimuli. At molecular level, Cxs Panxs multi-protein channel complexes, regulating their localisation activity. In addition this, junctional channels post-translational modifications (PTMs), including phosphorylation, glycosylation, proteolysis, N-acetylation, S-nitrosylation, ubiquitination, lipidation, hydroxylation, methylation deamidation. These PTMs influence almost all aspects communicating normal cell biology pathophysiology. this review, we will provide a systematic overview junction discuss effects on Cx Panx-channel activity localisation.
