A Content Analysis on Static Digital Information About the Causes of Construction Accidents

摘要: In many places, construction accident rates are high. While companies incur a huge sum of money for compensation in accidents, the injured workers suffer from loss income and even capacity to work. As implementation safety measures relevant regulations require knowledge causes, this research study aims at reviewing digital information available academic journal database about accidents with help technology tools. The results show that (1) articles shed light on developed countries, majority come Europe US. (2) Heaps analyses statistics official or report as their method studies, followed by questionnaires/survey interview. Triangulation, i.e. more than one method, is seldom used these articles. (3) Science Direct ASCE library contain which related causes other databases. (4) Lots them concede likely happen because immediate such fall, slip struck objects, workers’ characteristics.
