摘要: Abstract Determination of mechanical properties 3D woven reinforcements is crucial for tailoring the required end application. The current study presents an investigation performance novel composites’ structures. Various fabrics with variation in stuffer yarn density were designed, produced and their such as tensile, shear, drop weight impact compression after investigated. Reinforcements developed on a modified Dobby loom from flax four different levels densities. Machine modification ensured controlled amount tension during reinforcement production similar sets yarns crimp percentage. Composites fabricated using these green epoxy matrix. It was observed that flexural are significantly improved by increasing density.
