摘要: This paper describes the development and first results of a brief self-management course for patients recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. The intervention incorporates elements from proactive coping self-regulation theory in five-step plan to help newly formulate carry out intentions regard their self-management. theoretical framework program are described, patient evaluations summarized proximal outcomes will be analyzed, investigating whether is able increase patients' skills, goal attainment confidence dealing issues. Participants included 180 patients, 3-33 months previously during population screening. were randomized into an (n = 78) or control group 102).
