摘要: A quasi-distributed pH sensing system was developed to utilize information derived from evanescently excited fluorescence signals originating sensor sites fabricated on an optical fibre. The comprise a section of fibre core exposed by polishing upon which is laid down film. film comprises fluorescent indicator dye immobilized covalently within hydrogel matrix then photopolymerized and attached the core. Position determined propagation delay returning signals. comprising eight sensors spaced at 10 m intervals along has been constructed characterized. operate in region 6-pH 8 with response time 500 s. properties are found be similar those aqueous solution. Furthermore, films so created resistant leaching.
