摘要: We examine the fluid phase behaviour of binary mixture hard superellipses using scaled particle theory The superellipse is a general two dimensional convex object which can be tuned between circular and rectangular shapes continuously at given aspect ratio. find that shape affects strongly stability isotropic nematic tetratic phases even if ratios both species are fixed. While demixing transition ruled out first order stabilized with strong fractionation components. It observed tendency strongest in small rectangle large ellipse mixtures. Interestingly, it possible to stabilize lower densities squares rectangles where long form phase, while stay order.
