摘要: Four- to ten-month-old infants (n=58) were examined on their ability match magnitude across modalities. Their looking behaviour was recorded as they presented with an intensity modulated auditory stimulus and three possible visual matches. The mean times towards a target (size envelope matching of the stimulus) non-target calculated. Fivemonth-olds seven- ten-month-olds show significant preference target, do adult control group. six-month-olds not.
