摘要: An apparatus and method for generating high-pressure pulses in a subterranean dielectric medium are provided. The includes providing an electrode assembly the medium, having first second electrodes that define gap therebetween. A shaped electric current pulse is delivered to assembly. has duration greater than 100 μs so arc formed between electrodes, thereby producing pressure medium.
