摘要: Metal oxide nanoparticles (MeO-NPs) are among the most consumed NPs and also have wide applications in various areas which increased their release into environmental system. Aquatic (water sediments) terrestrial compartments predicted to be destination of released MeO-NPs. In these compartments, particles subjected dynamic processes such as physical, chemical biological processes, undergo transformations drive them away from pristine state. These transformation pathways can strong implications for fate, transport, persistence, bioavailability toxic-effects NPs. this critical review, we provide state-of-the-knowledge on MeO-NPs environment, is topic interest researchers. We recommend future research directions area will support risk assessments by enhancing our knowledge
