摘要: Review on the annual PM10 concentrations over a 10-year period shows that Macau is subjected to severe fine particulate pollution. Investigations of its variation in monthly and daily time scales with local meteorological records reveal further details. It found distinct feature Asian monsoon climates, changes wind direction, mainly controls general trend concentration year. The driven winter north-easterly winds bring upon dry particle enriched air masses leading higher while summer south-westerly transport humid cleaner region lower value. This seasonal enhanced by rainfall volume frequency as well mixing height their counterparts summer. also development tropical cyclones near could impose episode like spikes due pre-typhoon induced stagnant motion followed swing direction northerly.
