摘要: A mechanism for deploying and retracting an isogrid structure particularly suited use in supporting low weight reflective or absorbtive surfaces, characterized by a plurality of hinged panels stowed accordion folded stack arranged automatic deployment into long continuous strip array. Two arms contact with the are rotated to position perpendicular stack, carrying them perforated tape that is attached first panel. The engaged sprocket drives which draw panel from stack. Thereafter, extended powered sprockets engage perforations edges. shutter sequentially releases pairs during deployment. For retraction, drive back toward where creaser arm hinges thereafter means capturing stowing each pair panels.
