摘要: A procedure for both vertical canopy structure analysis and 3D single tree modelling based on Lidar point cloud is presented in this paper. The whole area of research segmented into small study cells by a raster net. For each cell, normalized whose heights represent the absolute ground objects generated from original raw cloud. main layers height ranges are detected according to statistical distribution probability points. individual trees, trees delineated not only top layer but also sub layer. points resampled local voxel space. series horizontal 2D projection images at different levels then respect Tree crown regions images. Individual extracted means pre-order forest traversal process through all levels. Finally, models reconstructed. With further analyses crowns, important parameters such as range, volume contours can be derived.
