摘要: This article provides an overview of problem-based learning (PBL) in Canadian undergraduate medical education and continuing (CME) programs. The CME field Canada is described, the major professional associations that require physicians to take annual courses programs are noted. A brief history PBL presented, along with definitions a discussion strengths weaknesses approach. Problem-based has been adapted, some cases, suit its special circumstances; this demonstrated by examples how CME departments three universities have implemented PBL. Finally, future research reviewed.
