Potentiometric Determination of Dopamine in Pharmaceutical Preparations by Crown Ether-PVC Membrane Sensors

摘要: Two simple, rapid and sensitive sensors for the assay of dopamine hydrochloride have been developed. The methods are based upon formation membrane 12-crown-4-phosphotungestic acid (crown ether-PTA)-dopamine 12-crown-4-tetraphenylborate ether-TPB)-dopamine as neutral carriers. were stable showed fast potential responses 10 s, near-Nemstian cationic slopes 53.3 - 56.2 mV/decade activity between pH 2.2 6 monovalent cation over a wide range concentrations 1 x 5 I M. selectivity coefficients developed indicated excellent large number organic inorganic species pharmaceutical excipients. mediator o-nitrophenyloctyl ether significantly affected lifetime fabricated dopamine. Satisfactory results obtained determination in dosage form by proposed with an average recovery 99.85% nominal concentration.
