A psychiatrist-rated battery of measures for assessing the clinical status of psychiatric inpatients

摘要: Despite the increasing demand for outcome assessment measures, no published reports have provided a standardized way to assess psychiatric inpatients that includes diagnosis and observer ratings of psychopathology. This paper reviews general principles selecting proposes battery instruments based on already available measures clinical status in inpatients, methods implementing an academic inpatient setting, presents preliminary data its interrater reliability, construct validity, range response acute hospitalization. Preliminary results suggest may be useful resident medical student education enhancing quality assurance continuous improvement.
