摘要: Abstract Administration of imipramine, 30 mg/kg, i.p., to rats decreased 5-HIAA and increased 5-HT in the brain. The increase brain was inconsistent. Imipramine inhibited accumulation rat after pretreatment with probenecid. 1-tryptophan (1-TP) imipramine-pretreated resulted an which significantly lower than controls. When 1-5-hydroxytryptophan given instead 1-TP, formation not but showed a tendency be increased. After administration rise plasma TP higher imipramine pretreated Uptake 1-TP by crude synaptosomal fraction vitro that uptake competitively. It is concluded might inhibit biosynthesis inhibiting TP.
