摘要: The biogeography of a widely distributed dragonfly (Libellula quadrimaculata) was examined via phylogenetic analysis 416 bp the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I subunit (COI). Phylogenetic analyses under parsimony and minimum evolution produced trees with similar topologies, revealed strong support for three clades corresponding to populations in Asia, Europe North America. However, resolution poor within clades, genetic distances between continents quite low (1–2%). Several this species are known engage periodic mass migrations, it is possible that introgression from gene flow due mobility has obscured patterns continents. unable test coincident historical glacial refugia given lack some sequence divergence observed continents, exist, subsequent studies should make use larger data sets, molecular faster evolving genes. Despite propensity periodic, short distance migrations L. quadrimaculata, appears be limited does not influence relationships
