摘要: In order to study the origin of minimum at a few at.% solute concentration in isotherm thermoelectric power Q versus composition liquid mercury alloys (the 'minimum Q'), electrical resistivity rho Hg-In and Hg-Sn has been measured precisely as detailed function composition. The present measurements indicate that temperature dependence , delta / T, shows hump about 5 for contrast smooth decrease observed alloys; former system Q' latter does not. These experimental facts suggest higher correlation effect stressed already by authors is important understanding Q'.
