摘要: Background: Cancer is a relevant risk factor for venous thromboembolism (VTE). Circulating tumor cells (CTC) are associated with an increased of VTE in breast cancer. In addition, circulating cell-free nucleic acids have been cardiovascular events (CVE). Objective: To investigate the association CTC status and as well CVE urothelial carcinoma bladder (UCB) patients treated radical cystectomy (RC). Methods: We collected data 189 UCB RC at our institution. Blood samples were acquired preoperatively analyzed using CellSearch® system. Thirty-day postoperative complications extracted from digital charts graded according to Clavien–Dindo classification (CDC). Moreover, each patient’s individual Comprehensive Complication Index® (CCI®) was calculated. Results: present 43 (22.8%). Overall, six experienced (3.2%) eight (4.2%) CVE. There no or status. total, 168 (89%) total 801 complications, which majority classified “minor” (CDC grade ≤ IIIa; 79%). between any complication CCI®. Presence more aggressive clinicopathological features. Conclusions: The overall rate low study. neither nor RC. According this study, not qualified biomarker individualized thromboprophylaxis management these patients.
