摘要: Sensitivity and specificity, as defined previously, depend on the cut-off point used to define positive negative test results. To determine best shift that optimizes sensitivity receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is often used. This a plot of versus its false-positive rate for all possible points. chapter outlines advantages, use means defining accuracy test, construction well methods identification optimal ROC curve. Meta-analysis diagnostic studies briefly discussed.
