摘要: 129I concentrations in precipitation at Dubendorf/Zurich, Switzerland, have been determined with monthly resolution for almost three years the mid 1990s. The results confirm that annual mean 1 2 9 I central Europe remained about constant since late 1980s. Liquid and gaseous emissions from nuclear fuel reprocessing plants Sellafield La Hague are discussed as only possible sources of Europe. Based on an upper limit estimate iodine transferred sea to atmosphere, discharges constitute potentially bigger reservoir precipitation. Moreover, time dependence releases correlates much better 1980s than does liquid these sites. At resolution, samples close Zurich exhibit a large variability. A meteorological transport analysis was carried out four selected months particularly low or high observed concentrations. It found alone, based upon assimilated wind fields values, can not directly account month-to-month
