摘要: This paper reports the findings of a study on spacing pattern population weaselsMustela nivalis Linnaeus, 1758 in central Italy. We describe this at spatial and habitat level, meant as set vegetational environmental features. The area is typical agricultural landscape, consisting highly fragmented natural modified by thousands years human presence work. results indicate that individual home ranges vary greatly from non breeding to season: during spring summer, weasels increase their movements number tracts they cross, which range areas up 10 times larger. Moreover demonstrates strong preference for habitats formed residual edges between fields meadows. shapes follow these edges, producing linear pattern.
