摘要: Publisher Summary In an experiment described in the chapter, using method of zonal centrifugation sucrose density gradient, highly homogeneous fractions Saccharomyces carlsbergensis cells were obtained that represent different stages cell cycle. Carbohydrate structural components a envelope are known to be degraded at very low rate; therefore, experiments on 14C-glucose incorporation into polysaccharides during short time periods demonstrate primarily biosynthesis these components. The changes rate synthesis yeast within cycle presumably reflect activity polysaccharide synthases each moment cell's vegetative development. Biosynthesis high-molecular-weight-carbohydrate-containing wall is controlled genetic and metabolic levels. control consists de novo enzymes responsible for cycle, includes regulation activities or enzymic systems. At this level, nucleotides and, principally, ATP, which controls levels certain synthetases, play important role morphogenetic processes.
