摘要: Introduction Extra-axial cavernous hemangiomas or angiomas [(hem)angiomas] are relatively rare lesions. They usually arise in relation to the dura mater intracranially at spinal level. Most of these lesions have been described middle cranial fossa level sinus. Controversy still exists regarding exact nature extra-axial angiomas: vascular tumor versus malformation similar intra-axial cavernomas. It has suggested that they could represent an adult form hemangioma infancy. (hem)angiomas often mimic meningiomas and their clinical behavior imaging appearance quite different than those angiomas. Subjects methods Five patients ranging age from 24 63 years with a histologically proven dural angioma were retrospectively included. The located sinus (4 cases) falx. CT MR scans performed all cases angiography three patients. Four underwent surgery biopsy was one case. One lesion embolized before biopsy.
