摘要: Abstract In this study a degradation process of flexible polymer networks fabricated from telechelic macromonomers comprising methacrylic functionalities and dimer fatty acid derivatives were discussed. Hydrolytic in simulated body fluid (SBF) as well enzymatic with lipase six different systems ester, anhydride urethane bonds was investigated. parallel, order to make comparison other analogous polymeric systems, reference materials also considered. The monitored by determining the weight loss water uptake, FT-IR analysis changes pH medium function time. A rapid progress network containing observed. Furthermore, showed low absorption 10 2 wt.%. Polymer did not release acidic products an amount that causes acidification except network. IR characteristic bands specific leading formation possible hydrolysis these such poly(methacrylic acid), macromonomer precursor molecules having terminal carboxylic hydroxyl groups. We demonstrated referred undergo controlled gradual presence lipase. This provides example how susceptibility cross-linked polymers can be tailored varying their molecular structure, depending on needs.
