摘要: Abstract Cadmium removal by sorption onto Kemolit M3 (Wollastonite) was investigated. Metal species surface loading and pH are the important factors controlling metal removal. Generally Cd2+ state is in adsorption apart from Cd(OH)+ higher range. Lower produces alkaline range favorable for uptake of Cd(II). Maximum (98.2%) has been noted at 9.5, which attributed to additive effects electrostatic forces complexation. The data fit Langmuir isotherm well, indicating monolayer coverage. intraparticle diffusion found play a dominating role as compared film diffusion. Mass transfer parameters have also pH, master parameter governing Cd(II) discussed light complexation solid-liquid interface.
