摘要: Left atrial enlargement is an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke in patients with fibrillation. Little known regarding the association between nighttime blood pressure variability and left fibrillation preserved ejection fraction. The study population consisted of 140 consecutive (mean age 64 ± 10 years) fraction (≥50%). Nighttime was measured at hourly intervals, using a home monitoring device. expressed as standard deviation all readings. volume index modified Simpson’s biplane method transthoracic echocardiography. Multiple regression analysis indicated that mean systolic/diastolic its remained independently associated after adjustment age, sex, anti-hypertensive medication class, ventricular mass (P < 0.01). When were divided into four groups according to variability, group higher had significantly larger than lower (46.6 ml/m2 vs. 35.0 ml/m2, P < 0.0001). Higher are enlargement. combination has additional predictive value Intensive intervention these high-risk may avoid or delay progression reduce stroke.
