摘要: Abstract We review the main tools which allow for statistical characterization of weighted networks. then present two case studies, airline connection network and scientific collaboration are representatives critical infrastructure social system, respectively. The empirical results (i) broad distributions various quantities (ii) existence weight-topology correlations. These measurements show that weights relevant in general modeling complex networks must go beyond topology. a model provides an explanation features observed several real-world This formation relies on dynamical coupling between topology weights, considering rearrangement new links introduced system.
