摘要: Complete extrahepatic obstruction can be diagnosed by the Rose Bengal I 131 excretion test. In 8 patients with atresia, fecal isotope was 6.5 per cent or less. Six infants intrinsic liver disease simulating obstructive jaundice excreted more than 10 cent. The advantages of this procedure as well technical errors most likely to lead inaccurate results are discussed. After studying 39 patients, we fell that test accurately predicts which need immediate surgical intervention.
