摘要: The chaplin and rodlin proteins together constitute the major components of hydrophobic sheath that coats aerial hyphae spores in Streptomyces, mutants lacking chaplins are unable to erect differentiate on minimal media. We have gained insight into developmental regulation (chp) (rdl) genes by exploiting a new model species, Streptomyces venezuelae, which sporulates liquid culture. Using microarrays, were found be highly induced during submerged sporulation bldN-dependent manner. σ(BldN) ChIP-chip, we show this dependence arises because direct biochemical targets . sven3186 (here named rsbN for regulator sigma BldN), gene lying immediately downstream bldN, was also identified as target Disruption causes precocious experiments demonstrate RsbN functions -specific anti-sigma factor.
