摘要: Serum soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R), intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) have each been reported as useful markers for melanoma progression. To evaluate the clinical relevance of these three markers, we simultaneously analysed their serum levels in patients with melanoma. A longitudinal study a 3-year follow-up was performed different stages disease were considered. Mean values sIL-2R significantly higher than normal controls all correlated The prognosis > 529 U/ml poorer < U/ml. Levels sICAM-1 also elevated patients, specially at time metastatic disease. IL-10 more frequently detectable that developed metastasis during follow-up, those undetected levels. Statistical analysis based on Logistic Cox regression models showed only sex, stage value are factors associated Moreover, high could be risk factor malignant progression © 2000 Cancer Research Campaign
