摘要: Abstract The spectral characterization, including the FTIR, DRIFT (diffusive reflectance), SWAXS (small and wide angle X-ray scattering) spectra comparison of sodium bentonite modified by BDMODA–Cl (benzyldimethyloctadecylammonium chloride), HDTMA–Br (hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide), DDA–Br (dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide) is presented in paper. FTIR show shift C–H stretching vibrations: νsym(CH2), νasym(CH2) surfactants methylene chains toward lower frequencies (from 2855 to 2851 cm−1 for νsym(CH2) from 2927 2918 cm−1 νansym(CH2) with surfactant concentration phase. bending vibrations δH–O–H water molecules change their positions direction higher 1634 1647 cm−1) bentonite–BDMODA bentonite–DDA contrary bentonite–HDTMA, where constant position explained as consequence hydrogen bonded bentonite–HDTMA phase when compared remaining forms bentonite. reveal dramatic νSi–O vibration upon intercalation cations. SEM images are evidence somewhat different sorption mechanism HDTMA–Br, remarkable external surface contribution overall sorption.
