摘要: OBJECTIVE: Previous studies have demonstrated a relationship between brain oxidative stress and cardiovascular regulation. We evaluated the effects of central catalase inhibition on responses in spontaneously hypertensive rats exposed to sidestream cigarette smoke. METHODS: Male Wistar Kyoto (WKY) (SH) (16 weeks old) were implanted with stainless steel guide cannula leading into fourth cerebral ventricle (4th V). The femoral artery vein cannulated for arterial pressure heart rate measurement drug infusion, respectively. smoke 180 minutes/day, 5 days/week 3 (CO: 100-300 ppm). baroreflex was tested using pressor dose phenylephrine (8 μg/kg, bolus) depressor sodium nitroprusside (50 bolus). Cardiovascular before 5, 15, 30 60 minutes after injection inhibitor (3-amino-1,2,4-triazole, 0.001 g/100 μL) 4th V. RESULTS: Vehicle administration V did not affect response, whereas increased basal HR attenuated bradycardic peak (p<0.05) greater extent WKY than fresh air. However, rats, effect treatment stronger air condition (p<0.05). CONCLUSION: Administration combined exposure has SH rats.
