摘要: The development of GaN-based vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) has been progressing rather fast in the past few years. Owing to special device structures VCSELs, novel designs have be incorporated order achieve high performance terms low threshold, efficiency, stable mode profile and polarization direction. We demonstrate an easy cost-effective way realize index-guiding structure that significantly lowers threshold observe transverse spectra guiding antiguiding VCSELs. also VCSEL with high-contrast grating (HCG) as top mirror control over manipulation HCG parameters.
