摘要: Over the past few decades, applications of ultrasound (US) in drug delivery have been documented widely for local and site-specific release bioactives a controlled manner, after acceptable use mild physical therapy tendinitis bursitis, high-energy fibroid ablation, cataract removal, bone fracture healing, etc. US is non-invasive, efficient, targetable controllable technique. Drug can be enhanced by applying directed terms targeting intracellular uptake. cannot only provide hyperthermia but also enhance extravasations permeability cell membrane cell-impermeable poorly permeable drugs. It found to increase anticancer efficacy against solid tumors facilitating uniform throughout tumor mass. This review summarizes mechanism US; various systems like microbubbles, liposomes, micelles; biological manifestations employed improving treatment cancer, i.e., extravasation. Safety issues are discussed better therapeutic outcomes US-assisted tumors. beneficial asset scientists looking at non-invasive techniques (externally guided) potential systems.
