摘要: Most cancers originate in a particular cell type within tissue by accumulating both mutations and epigenetic changes that alter the hierarchical balance of cells affected tissue. These result greater self-renewal proliferation capacity tendency to immortalization at expense differentiation, senescence, death. Over time, subpopulations these aberrant break boundaries, invade adjacent tissues, suppress immune system, spread other parts body. are associated with metabolic remodeling support predominantly glycolytic metabolism. This occurs while interacting normal microenvironment including stromal, vascular, neural system. Complex tumor biology demands strategic therapeutic approaches address different aspects this simultaneously can be adapted ongoing metabolism underpin progression.
