Spatial decision support systems

摘要: This chapter provides an overview of SDSS (Spatial Decision Support System) by differentiating them from geographical information systems (GIS) and examining the types problem to which they can be applied, decision-making processes support, typical system designs, a framework for their implementation evolution during decision research process. It begins with example DSS that illustrates nature must address. The characteristics geoprocessing in general are then reviewed. Following this, architecture presented.
