摘要: The friction behaviour of iron and Fe-Cr alloys in unidirectional reciprocating sliding motions at 293 K has been examined oxygen controlled partial pressure. During sliding, a progressive decrease coefficient accompanies the development compacted oxide films on metal surfaces, eventually resulting steady value about 0.6 when almost complete coverage is attained. This achieved more rapidly higher pressures.
