摘要: A random sample of 300 barley farmers was interviewed during the cropping season 2002/2003 to investigate factors explaining technology adoption production technologies introduced by national program. Logit model used estimate relationships decision and socioeconomic farmers. Results showed that farm size, farmers’ education, household income availability labor are most significant affecting technologies. Sharecropping, farmers' age size have negative influence on fertilizers, due increase in operational costs. Education is only factor with a positive effect fertilizers. The sharecropper farmer more likely adopt seed drill than other types land tenure. The drills negatively associated age, ownership, soil fertility size. Land ownership family both which affect herbicide application. Ecological zone, level depth, percentage hired were positively chances new varieties, older may be less willing varieties. Agricultural policies could create conditions would encourage such as promoting proper use planning, consolidation, small plots lease system, providing incentives according suitability comparative advantage, ensuring custom hiring services machinery provide an opportunity for extension inform about productivity.
