摘要: Using quantitative autoradiography, we have studied the influence of maternal plasma melatonin on expression and density receptors in brain pituitary rat offspring. At birth, same structures displayed whether rats were born to reared by intact or pinealectomized dams. The receptor was, however, about 20% lower group postnatal day 9, when pups both groups synthetize rhythmically their own melatonin, this difference was suppressed. These results indicate that does not appear be a requirement for its receptors, but seems play stimulatory role synthesis.
