摘要: Premise inspections and treatment of the larval habitats container-breeding Aedes aegypti are extremely labor intensive. Since this means control is only one available in relation to dengue fever, report presents an effective approach for streamlining premise surveys north Queensland, Australia. From a survey 877 premises Townsville, Charters Towers, Mingela/Ravenswood 1990, occupier variables were collected examine any relationships with presence Ae. aegypti. Statistical modeling these parameters using multiple simple Poisson regression indicated that both adjusted unadjusted models respectively, degree shade tidiness yard had strong correlations proportion positive numbers infested containers therein. Condition house was also significant variable model. On basis, Index proposed as rapid assessment tool can increase efficiency detecting by 270-370%. Although habitat selection varies throughout world, could be used model vectors yellow fever.
