摘要: Abstract The behaviour towards electron transfer of self-assembled monolayers 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (MBI) and 2-mercaptobenzimidazole-5-sulfonate (MBIS) on Au(1 1 1) was examined by cyclic voltammetry. influence the drastically dependent charge redox probe used. When [Ru(NH3)6]3+ is used, a post-adsorption peak characteristic adsorption detected only at MBIS modified electrode. Taking advantage this difference, ac voltammetry has been used to determine surface composition when mixed are formed immersion gold substrate in mixtures different molar fractions MBI MBIS. Results clearly indicate that ionic strength solution plays key role charged surfactant with non-charged surfactant.
